I'm pleased to share the interview below recorded just yesterday as a part of the ICF Heartland chapter participating in #InternationalCoachingWeek. It was fun to be on the other side of the interview answering questions about my practice, philosophy, and passion for this profession. I'd love for you to check it out!
Ep #5 - Ben Katzner
I am thrilled to share with you the 5th episode of Quarantine Conversations. We all know the healing powers of laughter. In this strange and tough time it may be wise to tap into more laughter as a vehicle for that thing we all crave - connection.
This is a super fun one as it's with one of my best friends from college, Ben Katzner.

Ep #2 - Jon McGraw
This topic of emotional awareness and mindfulness is dear to my heart as it has truly been life changing for me to embrace. No matter your experience with mindfulness or meditation, we can all dramatically improve our Life Experience by re-training our brains in relation to the way we engage with - and respond to - our emotions.
Ep #1 - Emily Pritchard
First up is Emily Pritchard from The Social Lights. She's an innovator, media strategist, and thoughtful leader. We are hearing “pivot” everywhere right now, and rightly so. What does this mean for your brand’s social presence? If you don’t currently have a social media strategy in place, where do you start?

Awareness + Choice = Peace (my favorite thing about coaching)
One of my most favorite things about being a Coach is the dynamic way it supports men and women to grow in self-awareness.
Is there ever a time to be more deeply aware of what we're experiencing than during a worldwide pandemic?
In coaching sessions, while it's truly magical when an "Ah-ha" moment takes place, it's what happens next that is often the most meaningful and pulls me to the edge of my seat...
Lower Your Stress with the Shape of Your Body
In our rapidly changing world and with increasing demands for attention, we hear more and more how this constant state of "fight, flight, or freeze" is detrimental to our mental and physical health. So, let's combat that!
It's probably no surprise to hear that our minds influence our bodies. But the tip today to remember is that our bodies change our minds.
What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
When I'm in a place of insecurity, cloudiness, or fear I have found that it is incredibly helpful to process in a safe place. I open up to my family, my friends, or my Coach.
It's not typical that I find the "perfect" path forward or solve all the perceived problems, but it IS typical that I experience peace after getting honest with myself. What is revealed is healed.
What’s Your Word for 2020…
I believe we are a people longing for rejuvenation. We are a people primed for growth and change. Perhaps in the routine and structure of every day life we don't get enough of it? We have grand plans and beautiful ideas and eagerness for healthy habits, yet we put them off for the ever-looming "tomorrow".
Intellectual Wellness
Intellectual Wellness is all about recognizing your creative abilities and expanding your knowledge and skills – whatever the area! Diminishing the importance of Intellectual Wellness is one component that often leads to that feeling of “playing small”.
Financial Wellness
The third Dimension of Wellness is Financial Wellness. Financial Wellness encompasses your current and future financial satisfaction. Perhaps you haven’t thought about the flow of money in and out of your life as a relationship? Or, pondered how money -- the surplus, the lack thereof, and everything in between -- is a huge component of your financial wellness, but it’s not the only aspect to consider.
Environmental Wellness
It’s about making your best effort to set up your environments to work FOR you, not against you. “Whatever is going on in your life good or bad – mimics or mirrors how you’re living in your space.” Robyn Stevens
When we think about how much time we spend in our homes and offices, and how easily we take on the energy of our environments, it’s a wonder this isn’t more top of mind!
Emotional Wellness
Emotional Wellness, according to SAMHSA, equals coping effectively with life and creating satisfying relationships.
Get curious about what you feel in a day. Then really feel it. Then do what you need to, to protect, honor and live your absolutely amazing life.
